I. OVERVIEW:

SHE is the Entertainment & Hospitality division of Sun Group, leading its premium resort, tourism, and amusement park ventures. SHE is responsible for developing and operating high-end resorts, hotels, theme parks, and entertainment complexes that deliver world-class experiences across iconic destinations in Vietnam.

Sun World Hon Thom is currently looking for 01 experienced Korean chef. This position will play a key role in delivering high-quality, culturally rich culinary experiences to our guests.

II. JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Provide suggestions to supervisors regarding Korean food quality and menu development;
• Participate in creating and developing new Korean dishes;
• Master the preparation of Korean sauces and broths;
• Cook dishes according to the Korean menu, including wok-based items.
• Prepare dishes directly as assigned by the supervisor;
• Maintain cleanliness of the workstation before, during, and after each shift;
• Handle kitchen-related incidents and resolve unexpected issues;
• Inspect, process, and store ingredients received during the shift;
• Ensure strict compliance with food safety and hygiene standards, including food sample storage;
• Train kitchen assistants on ingredient preparation and preservation techniques.
• Monitor and manage assigned ingredients and kitchen supplies;
• Maintain and preserve kitchen equipment and utensils;
• Report any damaged or broken equipment promptly;
• Attend meetings, training sessions, and company events;
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

III. REQUIREMENTS:

• Graduated from vocational college, intermediate school, or culinary training center in a kitchen-related field;
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role;
• Intensive experience in the hospitality or restaurant industry;
• Strong culinary and kitchen operation skills;
• Effective communication and problem-solving abilities, analytical thinking and task coordination, clear presentation and information delivery, high sense of responsibility and teamwork;
• Creative, quick, diligent, detail-oriented, and able to work under pressure.
