I. Job Purpose
The Show Director is responsible for the creative direction, production, and operational management of all live shows and entertainment performances. This role ensures world-class show quality, audience engagement, and alignment with the destination’s brand positioning, delivering memorable guest experiences consistent with international standards.
II. Key Responsibilities
1. Creative Direction & Show Development
- Lead the artistic vision and creative direction for all shows, performances, and entertainment programs.
- Conceptualize, develop, and continuously enhance show content, storylines, choreography, music, and visual effects.
- Ensure productions align with brand identity, cultural context, and target audience expectations.
- Collaborate with creative agencies, designers, and production vendors
2. Production Management
- Oversee end-to-end show production, including casting, rehearsals, technical setup, and stage operations.
- Direct live performances to ensure consistent quality and execution.
- Manage show schedules to optimize audience reach and operational efficiency.
3. Operations & Quality Control
- Ensure all shows are delivered at the highest artistic and technical standards.
- Monitor guest feedback and continuously improve show performance and engagement.
- Maintain consistency across multiple shows and venues.
4. Technical Coordination
- Work closely with technical teams (lighting, sound, stage mechanics, special effects) to ensure seamless production.
- Ensure proper integration of advanced technologies (multimedia, water shows, pyrotechnics, etc.).
- Oversee troubleshooting and resolution of technical issues during performances.
III. Job Requirements
- Minimum 10–15 years of experience in live entertainment, show direction, or theatrical production.
- Proven experience in large-scale productions (theme parks, resorts, cruise lines, international shows).
- Experience working in multicultural and international environments (expat experience required).
