1. Job Description
- The Director of Engineering is responsible for the overall engineering strategy, asset protection, project management, and technical readiness of the hotel during the pre-opening phase.
- This role works closely with the General Manager, owners, consultants, contractors, and corporate teams to oversee building handover, major project milestones, CAPEX control, life safety compliance, sustainability initiatives, preventive maintenance strategy, and long-term asset management.
- The Director of Engineering ensures the hotel is technically ready, legally compliant, and operationally sustainable from opening onwards.
2. Requirements
- Have 5+ years of experience in engineering management roles.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related majors.
- Have knowledge of MEP systems, safety standards, and hotel engineering.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
