1. Job Description
- The Director of Rooms is responsible for the overall Rooms Division strategy, operational readiness, and guest experience framework for the hotel.
- This role oversees all rooms-related departments, including Front Office, Housekeeping, Guest Services, Concierge, Bell Services, Recreation (where applicable), and sometimes Spa operations.
- During pre-opening, the Director of Rooms works closely with the General Manager to establish service standards, staffing plans, operating structures, departmental budgets, systems readiness, and the overall guest journey strategy.
- The focus is on ensuring the Rooms Division is fully prepared to deliver a seamless guest experience from Day 1.
2. Requirements
- Have 2–5 years of experience in technical maintenance roles.
- Technical diploma or vocational training in Engineering fields.
- Have knowledge of electrical, mechanical, or HVAC systems.
- Basic English communication skills.
