Job Summary  

As a Fullstack Engineer within the Platform teams, you will design, build, and operate AI-first E-Commerce and Digital Experience solutions across Sun Group’s ecosystem. You will craft fast, reliable web applications and the services behind them - serving large user bases and high monthly transaction volumes - while integrating with world-class core systems and AI capabilities. 

In this role, you will collaborate closely with your product development team and partners to elevate Sun Group’s services and contribute to Vietnam’s broader digital transformation.  

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Build and evolve user-facing apps using React/Next.js (or similar), modern TypeScript/JavaScript, reusable UI libraries, accessibility, and responsive design across devices. 

- Optimize forperformance & reliability: SSR/ISR/edge rendering, code-splitting, bundle optimization, caching (CDN/Redis), error boundaries, graceful degradation, and observability. 

- Design idempotent, secure REST APIs; handle retries, backoff, saga/outbox patterns, and data consistency for transactional flows using Node.js 

- Integrate with payment gateways, third-party partners and Sun Group’s internal platforms securely via OAuth2/OIDC/JWT, API Gateway, and proper rate-limiting. 

- Apply Agile and DevOps practices; CI/CD, automated testing, monitoring; to deliver high-quality code at speed. 

- Contribute to technical design discussions, architecture improvements, and engineering best practices. 

QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor’s degree with Good/Excellent classification in Computer Science, IT, Electronics/Telecom, or related fields. 

- 1-3 years of web application development on Linux; strong in modern JavaScript/TypeScript. 

- 1-3 years hands-on with React/Next.js and Node.js. 

- Experience building high-volume transactional features with attention to throughput, latency, scalability, and caching (Redis/CDN). 

- Comfortable using ORMs and working with relational/NoSQL stores at an application level. 

- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD; automated testing and observability. 

- Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design, and familiarity with WebSocket or gRPC is a strong plus. 

- Exposure to cloud platforms such asAzure, AWS, or GCP is an advantage. Experience with Kafka, API Gateway, service mesh is a plus. 

- English proficiency of at least IELTS 5.5 (or equivalent), with strong communication skills
