Role Summary

As a Project Manager at Sun Group‘s Technology & IT Department, you will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of complex IT projects. Your role is to manage the project scope, schedule, and costs , while leveraging your solid technical background to lead and guide the project team. You will ensure that all projects are completed successfully and on-time , with technical decisions aligned to strategic business objectives.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

Project Management:

• Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time and within scope by setting specific timelines.
• Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress.
• Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals.
• Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques.
• Coordinate internal resources/departments and third parties for the flawless execution of projects.

Risk Management and Continuous Improvement:

• Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
• Document workflows, identify barriers or obstacles, and offer solutions.
• Conduct post-project reviews ("lessons learned") to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices for future projects.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the project team, encouraging the adoption of new tools and methodologies to enhance efficiency and product quality.

Leadership and Strategic Direction:

• Lead technical discussions and facilitate technical/architectural decisions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and engineering best practices.
• Ensure that project teams are making appropriate progress and output on a day-to-day basis.
• Provide strategic consultation to executives on project direction, objectives, and expected business benefits.

WHAT WE‘RE LOOKING FOR:

Professional Experience & Knowledge:

• Bachelor’s degree with Good/Excellent classification
• At least 2 years in a project management role.
• Experience in an Agile environment or as a Scrum Master is a plus.
• Familiar with product management tools such as Jira, MS Project, Redmine.
• Proven ability to manage and readiness to jump into cross-domain projects such as Real Estate, Healthcare, F&B, Aviation, etc., is a significant advantage.
• English proficiency of at least IELTS 5.5 (or equivalent), with strong communication skills

Soft Skills and Personal Qualities:

• Excellent communication, organization, influence, and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and multitasking skills.
• Very positive optimistic attitude & team spirit.
• Proven ability to mentor and guide project teams.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
