Role Summary

This position is part of SGEN 2026 – Sun Group’s Future Leadership Development Program, designed to identify and nurture high-potential talents into future leaders of the organization.

As a Project Manager in SGEN, you will not only be responsible for orchestrating project timelines, managing resources, and ensuring delivery quality across IT initiatives, but also be developed through a structured roadmap. This includes real business projects, mentorship from senior leaders, and personalized development plans (IDP).

The role offers opportunities to drive large-scale digital transformation projects across Sun Group’s ecosystem, lead core tech initiatives, and build a strong foundation for long-term career growth in technology and leadership.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

1. Strategic Tech Leadership & Delivery

- Lead technical discussions and facilitate critical architectural decisions, ensuring tech initiatives perfectly align with Sun Group’s strategic business objectives.

- End-to-end management of complex IT projects; define clear scopes, build detailed project blueprints, and optimize resource/budget allocation to ensure flawless on-time delivery.

- Act as a strategic consultant to executives, providing data-driven insights on project directions, risk mitigations, and expected business benefits.

2. Ecosystem Cross-Collaboration & Agility

- Harmonize and lead cross-functional squads consisting of internal tech teams, business units, and global third-party vendors.

- Drive the project squad’s day-to-day momentum, continuously tracking short- and long-term milestones while adaptively managing scope changes.

3. Risk Management & Innovation Culture

- Anticipate project risks, map out workflows, and decisively eliminate bottlenecks to ensure zero-disruption delivery.

- Conduct post-project reviews ("lessons learned") to institutionalize best practices.

- Foster a high-performance culture, championing the adoption of cutting-edge tools, methodologies, and AI-driven processes to maximize team efficiency.

WHAT WE‘RE LOOKING FOR:

1. Professional Experience & Mindset:

- Bachelor’s degree or higher with a Very Good/Excellent classification in Information Technology or related fields.

- At least 3years of hand-on experience in IT Project Management. Experience in Agile/Scrum environments (Scrum Master) is highly preferred.

- High readiness and cognitive flexibility to deep-dive into diverse industries (Real Estate, Healthcare, F&B, Aviation, Hospitality).

- Proficient in project governance tools (Jira, MS Project, Redmine, etc.).

- English proficiency of at least IELTS 5.5 (or equivalent) with strong cross-cultural communication skills.

2. Leadership Potential (SGEN DNA):

- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management/influencing skills.

- A positive, solution-oriented attitude with the grit to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure corporate ecosystem.

- Proven ability to inspire, guide, and foster psychological safety within project teams.

- PMP, PMI-ACP, or CSM certifications are significant advantages.
